In 1 John 5, John reminds Christians that we are God’s children. John offers a specific word on the dual human yet divine nature of God. And, no matter how dire circumstances may become for the Christian, John teaches us that by the power of the Holy Spirit, we have overcome the world. What a beautiful promise to meditate on, as we conclude our study of this short yet powerful epistle.
