The Old Testament prophet Ezekiel made some extraordinary end-time predictions. Ezekiel named a group of nations who would come from the “uttermost” parts of the north to attack Israel in the “latter days.” It’s become known as the Battle of Gog and Magog. Most theologians believe that coalition of nations is led by Russia and Iran, but Turkey is now being mentioned as a possible participant. Current events are ramping up interest in this ancient prophecy. Russia is dug in deep in Middle East affairs, literally right on Israel’s northern border. Iran continues to call for Israel’s complete destruction. Turkey, once an ally, is now increasingly militant towards Israel.
