The Pentecostal Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ
Most Bible teachers have long recognized the prophetic nature of the Feasts in Israel’s liturgical calendar. The Hebrew prophets themselves spoke of future aspects regarding the Feast of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles. The apostle Paul also spoke of the festivals as “a shadow of things to come” (Colossians 2:16, 17). Because of this, many have sought to find a celebration which would fit the Rapture of the Church.
There has, no doubt, been a lot of speculation and confusing use of Scriptures in this area of study. A few Bible teachers have suspected that the Feast of Pentecost best fits an application to the Rapture of the Church. However, because of certain unanswered questions they have hesitated to make that application. I believe that in this study you will find the right answers to those questions. Not only was the Church born at the precise time of the Offering of the Wave-loaves on Pentecost, but there are many other features about this Feast which typify the present Church dispensation.
Certain features in this investigation demonstrate that Pentecost is the only Feast day which was looked upon by Jewish teachers as a “mystery” Feast, a Feast which was identified with a time of Gentile redemption. In fact, we shall see that the apostle Paul uses terminology pointing to the Feast of Pentecost and to the Offering at Pentecost in regards to the future resurrection of the Church. We will also discover that this is the only Feast on Israel’s liturgical calendar which could typify the Rapture of the Church and at the very same time not be subject to the error of “date setting” in terms of its prophetic fulfillment.
In other words, we shall find that a Pentecostal Rapture of the Church does not violate the principle doctrine of “imminence” in connection with the expectancy of the Rapture coming of Christ.

3. The Fire That is Eternal: Exploring the Nature of Man and the Reality of Hell
by Jack Langford
The following Bible studies contain a reservoir of information concerning the nature of man and different facets of the subjects which we commonly call “Hell.” In exploring the true nature of man, we shall first sit at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then we will search the epistles of the Apostle Paul and other New Testament writers. Finally, we will compare this with the Revelation in the Hebrew Scriptures. On the subject of Hell this material is organized in such a way, from the beginning of the Hebrew Scriptures through to the end of the book of Revelation, so as to give a sequential and orderly revelation.
No doubt this may be a distasteful subject to some as it pertains to the eternal destiny of the lost and of our archenemy, Satan; nevertheless, the subject matter, contrary to the assumptions of many false teachers, is abundantly spoken on in the Scriptures. Every child of God needs to know and understand its ramifications as an important reality in the conflict between good and evil.
The Apostle Paul, as did the Lord Jesus Christ before Him, actually includes it as a crucial point in his ministry in this age of grace—” …in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my Gospel” (Rom. 2:16). In Hebrews 6:1 and 2, the “doctrine of Eternal Judgment” is listed as a “foundational” subject.
4. The Gap is Not a Theory: An Examination of the First Chapter of Genesis
What has been called the “Gap Theory” was a popular and consistent explanation of the first chapter of Genesis among fundamental, evangelistic Christians up through the mid-1900s. With the rise of Young Earth creationism, the gap theory was simply pushed to the background and ridiculed as a past effort to satisfy the claims of modern evolutionary science. In effect, the new teachers buried this doctrine with the debris of Noah’s flood deposits.
However, we shall see in this study that the YEC effectively left the biblical record of Genesis 1 and leaped into the realm of pseudo-science to claim that Noah’s flood deposited all of the sedimentary strata of the whole earth. In addition, they pontifically assert that the whole heavens and earth are only about 6,000 years old. This study is going to prove that the YEC are the very ones who do not take the Scriptures literally.
This study will prove conclusively that Moses did not make the blunder of either stating or inferring the earth is only 6,000 years old. There is an abundance of biblical evidences that indicate that the Gap is not a theory, but a fact!
In this study you will find that certain of the prophets and an apostle were inspired of God to look back in time, even to the backside of Earth’s history. We shall be surprised to find that the past is as captivating as the future. In fact, as we better understand the past, we shall better comprehend the future.
The cover picture on this book is from two pages of the Jewish Sarajevo Haggadah, as seen in the Sarajevo Museum in Spain. This work was done in 1400 AD. The pictures on each page are to be read in the Hebrew manner from right to left. The pictures graphically depict the six-day activity of God in preparing the earth for man’s habitation. Two things are to be noted . . . first, these six days are preceded by a scene of the earth in a chaotic condition as described in the second verse of Genesis 1 (first frame, upper right hand corner). Second, on the first day light was made and nothing else (third verse of Genesis 1, second frame). Obviously, this six-hundred year old work was not influenced by modern scientific theories, rather it represents a long standing interpretation in Judaism.
