The Apostasia Package

Deciphering I Thessalonians 2:3

Lee Brainard

The Apostasia Package includes the following 3 products designed to educate on the rapture of the church.

  1. Book – Apostasia in II Thessalonians 2:3 – Rapture? Or Apostasy?
  2. Book – Uncovering the Secrets of Bible Prophecy by Jeff Kinley
  3. DVD – The Rapture is the Resurrection DVD by Gary Stearman

The Greek word, apostasia,  in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 has typically been viewed as a reference to an exceptional apostasy or departure from the faith in the last days. Recently, some prophecy teachers have advanced the idea that apostasia in this passage does not refer to apostasy, but the rapture of the church. The claim that the semantic range of apostasia is not limited to spiritual departure, but includes physical departure.

They also insist that all of the Bible’s early versions translated apostasia in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 as departure, a reference to the church’s physical departure for heaven. Are they correct? Is apostasia in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 a reference to the rapture? Should it be translated by the word departure? Are translations like falling away, revolt and apostasy wrong?

In this volume, Lee Brainard presents a mountain of overlooked evidence from Koine Greek, the Church Fathers, and the old Bible versions that shout an emphatic “no!” to all four questions.
