The Complete Word Study Old Testament is the ultimate tool for the study of the original languages of the Old Testament. Each word in the Hebrew Old Testament is represented by a number (from Strong’s Dictionary) and a grammatical code printed above the English text. The number responds to the original Hebrew or Aramaic word listed in Strong’s Dictionary of the Hebrew Bible, Found in the back section of this book.
The Lexical Aids (Word Studies) provides more detailed definitions of key words (also found in the back section of this book). The grammatical codes identify the forms and parts of speech of the Hebrew and Aramaic words and are explained in the Grammatical Notations of the “Study Helps.”
Also included in the “Study Helps,” is a Translational Notations Section of the “Study Helps.” This index makes it possible to identify by Strong’s Dictionary number all the Hebrew words that a particular English word represents in the King James Version of the Old Testament.
