A Spectacular Film From Ingenuity Films & Brent Miller Jr.
I’ll never forget the first time I watched Ingenuity Film’s first DVD, The Final Prophecies. It was after midnight when I hit the play button on my DVD and I figured I’d probably be asleep on the couch in 10 minutes or so. Then, suddenly, I found myself in Israel, surrounded by exciting, toe-tapping Jewish music that wouldn’t let me sleep if I wanted to! Then on to archaeological digs at critically important biblical locations—all designed to prove the veracity of the Holy Bible and it’s 2,000 year-old prophecies. Then off on a long journey to the Red Sea crossing and then on to the Temple Mount AND underneath the Temple Mount— visuals I never could have imagined in a million years! I was captivated!
I’d never seen a Christian film about the future that really got my attention like this one. This wasn’t a “Left Behind” novelistic approach, awkwardly taken to the big screen. This was REAL DOCUMENTARY PROOF OF BIBLE PROPHECY that I’d personally known about and shared for many years, but I’d never seen communicated so well visually. As many of you know, Brent Miller and his son, Brent Jr. are visual geniuses and their films have captured the imaginations of millions of people. About a year ago I began to hear the rumblings from Brent and his son about their next DVD, The Coming Convergence. I’d never seen two guys quite so excited about a project. I guess you could call this a sequel to The Final Prophecies, but in a whole new setting. And believe it or not, it’s even better. I watched the first 11 minutes of the almost-completed DVD last night and was mesmerized by the cinematography and the music. The new DVD tells the story of a young girl who finds herself in the Tribulation. She awakes to a new reality that Brent and his son feel could come upon the world at any moment. In a rapid fire documentary style, mixed with Scripture, powerful expert interviews, flashbacks and current events, they make a strong case that the end of days is almost upon us! Geological and statistical evidence makes a powerful case that the “Day of the Lord” is at hand. And as the Bible says, “Who can stand it?” It’s described in Scripture as the worst time in the history of the world—a future day described in graphic detail in the Old Testament and the Book of Revelation.
I don’t plan on being here to see it and I know most of you don’t want any part of the wrath of God and the 7-year Tribulation. Neither does the young lady in the film as she walks us through the destructive visual events that are soon to come upon the world.
It’s been almost 2,000 years since Jesus Christ walked the streets of Jerusalem. We all know of the miracles He did—He made the lame to walk and the blind to see. But the religious leaders of Israel didn’t see him as their Messiah because he didn’t bring peace and conquer the Roman Empire. But when he rose from the dead He changed world history. Jesus wept over Jerusalem and the Jewish people—His own people—who did not recognize their Messiah at His first appearance. Scripture says, “He came unto His own and His own received Him not.”
Will the FINAL GENERATION—those people who get left behind to face the Tribulation—miss His Second Coming in the Rapture as well and wake up to find themselves in the Tribulation?
This film is a warning to those about to find themselves in the worst possible place a man, woman, or child could find themselves. This life-changing film is a clarion call to CHRISTIANS to get out and spread the word. TIME IS SHORT and I think the timing of Brent’s film is just perfect. Are we on the brink of eternity? I think we all feel that the end is drawing near. Recent political events are echoing the signs of the end times and the conflict that seems to grow more desperate every day. The 3rd chapter of Timothy says it best.
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
Reading the news headlines today is like watching a horror film. I know we are ALL looking forward to eternity. I can’t imagine what it will be like the day we arrive in heaven. Will we have memories of the people we left behind? Will we regret NOT sharing the Gospel with our friends and family who now find themselves in the Tribulation? I can almost hear the words of the people left behind, “Why didn’t you tell me?” I can’t recommend this evangelical film more or overemphasize the URGENCY we should all have right now.
