This publication is the result of exploring over 700 mound and earthwork states that took twelve winters to complete. The majority of mounds and earthworks photographed are on public lands or are viewable from the road. The intent was to discover and unveil the ruins of an ancient world that few are aware exists. 222 mound and earthwork sites were photographed and directions provided to those who wish to investigate the ruins from this mysterious ancient chapter of American history.
From the pantheon of gods who worshipped by the Allegewi Hopewell moundbuilders, new insights are revealed about the purpose and constructon of the geometric earthworks in the Ohio Valley. The lengths, diameters, and circumferences of the circular and square works are examined, unveiling the Allegewi Hopewell had knowldge of complex mathematics that included how to formulate pi and square roots.
