This publication is the result of exploring over 700 mound and earthwork states that took twelve winters to complete. The majority of mounds and earthworks photographed are on public lands or are viewable from the road. The lengths, diameters, and circumferences of the circular and square works are examined, unveiling the Allegewi Hopewell had knowldge of complex mathematics that included how to formulate pi and square roots.
